Peter Mesker

Dr. Peter Mesker is a lecturer in the international honours track UTEACH of the Graduate School of Teaching (Utrecht University). UTEACH prepares pre-service teachers specifically for teaching in bilingual and international schools. Peter is interested in (beginning) teachers' professional development in intercultural or interdisciplinary settings. His research focuses on how cross-cultural or interdisciplinary experiences can raise teachers' awareness of their personal interpretative frameworks (including moral or normative dimensions in teaching). Peter also works as a senior lecturer at the teacher training institute Archimedes of HU University of Applied Sciences and the research group Sustainable Communities.
